It was honours even for Leicester and Southampton playing our first ever IFA
league game against each other. The result was 2-2
A closely fought match played in the best of spirits and very enjoyable to
be involved in.
I think we should have nicked it and I would give Southampton's keeper the
man of the
match for making some excellent saves. Having said this Luke H had a
nightmare in front of goal and there were a load of other missed chances
too.
Us players at the back couldn't believe it. I think Luke would still be
there now and he won't have scored.
The expectations on him are so high now.
Thanks to the Southampton lads for making the long trip up to play us and I
hope that we can return the favour at the end of the season.
